As a traveling teacher and multi-linguist, it’s a joy for Gilbert to serve communities across Africa, Europe and the US! Gilbert takes the teaching of God's word to new frontiers and remote places!

About Gilbert:
Gilbert Kimeng was baptized on October 1, 1992. He has been married to Perita for 9 years, with a 3 years old son and was appointed a teacher in the International Church of Christ (ICOC) on August 19, 2018. In the course of his years serving on the Church staff, he was appointed an evangelist in 2003 and served in various capacities.

Education:
Gilbert was an undergraduate student of engineering at the Technical University in Berlin Germany when he became a disciple of Jesus. He subsequently returned to the African continent to serve on the church staff from 1994 – 2007. After 13 years on staff, Gilbert returned to school and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the Irish University Business school. He has worked in the ICT and Telecom Industry in different managerial roles and is currently undergoing a Masters of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies with the Rocky Mountain School of Ministry. During these years he has continued to serve, working with teenagers, singles and currently with the professional ministry in the Islands Region of the Lagos Church.

Professional Passions & Engagements:
Gilbert speaks three International languages, he has a passion for learning and has embarked on several Bible Study tours to Europe and Israel. He has taught extensively across the French and English speaking churches in West, Central, South and East Africa, partnering with them especially to teach Ministry Training Academy (MTA) courses and other congregational topics. His preferred areas of teaching include Christ & Culture, Apologetics and applying the principles of Hermeneutics and Exegesis to entire books, preferably in the New Testament.
